The Atelier

A wedding is a story — and we keep the whole arc.

The Vow Atelier was founded in 2012 by Eleanor Reign after a decade designing for fine-art venues across the South. The studio was built on one conviction: a wedding is a story, not a checklist — and the planner who keeps it should hold the whole arc, from the first mood board to the last sparkler.

We take a limited number of celebrations each year, work largely by referral, and stay independent of any single venue or vendor — so every recommendation is made for you, and a principal is in the room for every wedding.

Chapter I · Real Weddings

Days we’ve written.

Every wedding is a story, told once. Here are a few of ours — read them slowly.

October180 guestsBoone Hall, Mount Pleasant, SC

Amelia Jonah · A Garden Vow Beneath the Oaks

Boone Hall Plantation

A golden-hour ceremony under the Avenue of Oaks, a hundred-foot table of gathered florals, and a band that played until the last sparkler. Amelia and Jonah wanted a wedding that felt like a Sunday dinner that never ended — abundant, warm, and entirely Lowcountry.

Priya Wesley · Two Days, One Lowcountry Weekend

Palmetto Bluff

A multicultural weekend that wove a marigold-draped mandapa, a riverside welcome party, and a black-tie reception into one continuous celebration. Priya and Wesley gathered 220 guests from three countries — and we designed every hour of it.

Celeste Marie · A Candlelit Evening on Society Street

William Aiken House

A winter black-tie wedding in a historic Charleston house — all tapers, white blooms, and gold-foil menus. Celeste and Marie wanted timeless and intimate, the kind of evening that feels like it could have happened in any beautiful century.

Chapter III · A Place to Begin

Plan your day, or find your style.

Work through the planning timeline, or take the two-tap quiz to discover your look — and the package that brings it to life.

Find Your Wedding Style
A playful starting point — every wedding we design is bespoke. Not a quote or a contract.
Chapter IV · The Path

From inquiry to the last sparkler.

01

The inquiry

Tell us about you, your date, and your dream day. We reply within two business days — and only take a date if we can do it justice.

02

The discovery call

A relaxed conversation about your story, your guests, and your priorities. No pressure, no script — just whether we’re the right fit.

03

The proposal & contract

A tailored proposal with scope, timeline, and a transparent investment. A signed agreement and a retainer reserve your date.

04

The design book

We build a bespoke design book — palette, florals, tablescape, layout — and refine it together until it feels unmistakably yours.

05

The planning season

Vendor curation, budget stewardship, and a living timeline. You make the decisions; we hold the details and the calendar.

06

The celebration

We take the reins six weeks out, run the rehearsal, and direct the day so you — and your family — are guests. Then we send you off through the sparklers.

Chapter V · The Setting

Chapter VII · Love Notes

In their words.

★★★★★
Eleanor and her team held the entire weekend so gently that, on the day, the only thing left for us to do was fall in love all over again. Worth every cent and then some.
Amelia & JonahBoone Hall, October · Mount Pleasant, SCThe Knot
★★★★★
They honored two cultures without compromising either, and made 220 travelling guests feel like they’d come home. The logistics were invisible — which is exactly the point.
Priya & WesleyA two-day weekend · Palmetto Bluff, SCThe Knot
★★★★★
Every candle, every place card, every minute of the evening had clearly been loved over. People still tell us it was the most beautiful wedding they’ve ever been to.
